High Calorie Protein Shake Recipe For Weight Gain

Make one of these as soon as you wake up in the morning and have it before your breakfast.

I’ll be honest with you, its hard to take down at first and it takes some getting used to it,but its worth it if you are trying to gain solid mass. This shake is packed full of protein, carbs, fats, vitamins and other essential nutrients. Everything you need for bulking up!

What you’ll need:

A good blender

2 Scoops of Whey Protein ( I personally use ON 100% WheyGold Standard )

  • 260 Calories
  • 48g of Protein
  • 8g of Carbs
  • 4g of Fats

1 Cup of Oatmeal (Quaker 1-minute dry oatmeal works the best)

  • 332 Calories
  • 6g of Protein
  • 28g of Carbs
  • 3.6g of Fats

4 tablespoons of Peanut Butter

  • 376 Calories
  •  16g of Protein
  • 12.6g of Carbs
  • 32g of Fats

14oz of 2% (Blue cap) Milk

  • 219 Calories
  • 16g of Protein
  • 22g of Carbs
  • 10g of Fats

Total Macro Counts:

  • Calories: 1187
  • Protein: 86g
  • Carbs: 70.6g
  • Fats: 49.6g

As you can see this protein shake is no joke, it is a protein heavy shake designed to increase muscle growth and speed up recovery. If you are a hard gainer and having trouble putting on muscle and eating tons of food, drink one of these a day and not only will you have the energy to workout more intensely but you will in turn grow a bigger appetite.


*I use my blender on the highest setting

Step 1: Blend the milk, oatmeal and peanut putter together first for about 30 seconds

Step 2: Add in the 2 scoops of protein through the top of your blender as its mixing

Step 3: Blend all of it for another 30 seconds

Step 4: Pour in a cup and enjoy, or if you are in beast mode just chug it straight out of the blender!

Optional: Put some honey in it, for some natural sugars

That’s about it, this shake will add an extra 1200 calories to your bulking diet and will help you gain weight really quickly.

A Few Tips:

  • If you are consuming high amounts of calories and not training intensely you will get fat!
  • This recipe works with any flavor protein, but I recommend chocolate.

    Shake is spot on for bulking up and a staple in my diet. I like to switch out the milk for a 1 cup of greek yogurt and throw in a banana for sweetness.

    had this for the first time yesterday n was actually quite nice takin all in to concederation but boy did I go to toilet a hour or so after maybe a few days for body to ajust wonna gain mass gotta put up wiv a change in lifestyle!
