What Does Cellucor CN3 Do?
Cellucor has really outdone itself this time with its fantastic new CN3 Creatine Nitrate supplement.
Is relatively inexpensive supplement provides the benefits of basic creatine supplementation with the added pump-enhancing benefits offered by nitrate supplements.
The important thing to consider when using nitric oxide or other nitrate supplements is that they can actually cause oxidative damage to cells due to their nature as free radicals.
What makes Cellucor CN3 so great, besides the fact that it is backed by science, is the fact that it comes with a 500 mg dose of Vitamin C in every serving so as to protect your body from the potential deleterious effects of nitrates.
What’s in Cellucor CN3?
Cellucor CN3 contains the following active ingredients:
- Vitamin C
- Creatine Nitrate
How and When Do I Take It?
Most creatine supplements can be used at any point during the day because the most important thing is that you consistently take it on a daily basis to keep your levels topped up.
Having said that, nitrate and nitric oxide supplements are usually best taken pre-workout because of course that is when you will want the most stimulus provided to your circulatory system in order to enhance pumps and vascularity.
With this in mind, the best time of day to use this product will probably be 30 minutes or so before you head to the gym because that will allow enough time for the ingredients to kick in by the time you start your workout.
You may also want to consider using this product on your off days in order to keep your creatine levels replete and continue to stimulate blood flow to your muscles.
What are the Benefits of Cellucor CN3 Creatine?
The most basic benefit of any creatine supplement is that it holds fluid into your muscles. Not only does this increase the volume of your muscles but it also helps to promote the delivery of nutrients where they are needed in order to maximize muscle protein synthesis.
Keeping your creatine levels topped up is also a great idea because it stimulates the production of what is known as ATP within your cells.
ATP acts as a medium for the exchange of energy between cells throughout the human body, so maximizing your ATP concentrations promotes greater strength, endurance, and overall energy levels.
Most of you are probably familiar with the benefits of nitric oxide supplements, so pairing creatine with nitrates creates a potent synergistic effect that will almost certainly give you skin-splitting pumps every time you so much as look at some iron.
We can talk about the benefits of creatine and pump-enhancing supplements then all day long but there aren’t many supplements on the market that are actually backed by credible studies.
This product is backed by research conducted at Texas A&M University which showed Creatine Nitrate to provide superior effects to those of Creatine Monohydrate.
The studying question compared the effects of 28 days of two Creatine Nitrate-based dietary supplements on bench press power in recreationally active males.
Funding studies such as this is certainly not the cheapest thing in the world, so it is great to see that both Cellucor and Texas A&M have been willing to stake their reputations on CN3.
Simply put, this is a supplement that is almost definitely going to provide you with some noticeable benefits in the short term.

Cellucor CN3 Creatine Review
With a great brand and ample scientific backing behind it, Cellucor CN3 definitely delivers the goods in terms of quality.
It is great to see that the manufacturer has placed the health of its customers as a top priority by including Vitamin C in the formula.
Cellucor could just have easily has cut costs by leaving out this antioxidant ingredient, so kudos to them for making this great product even better.
The only thing that can be really said about this product is that you should try it out and save yourself just how effective it is.
Nitrates are a well-known for their ability to promote insane pumps, so pairing them with creatine and all of the benefits that it provides makes the question of Cellucor CN3’s efficacy a real no-brainer.
Taste / Composition / Mixability
CN3 actually tastes pretty darned good.
If you’ve ever used a creatine monohydrate supplement then you are probably well aware of the unpleasant gritty sediment that can sink to the bottom of your bottle. This doesn’t seem to be a problem with Cellucor CN3, perhaps because of the way the creatine has been bonded with nitrates.
This supplement mixes very easily into water and seems to be quite easy on the stomach, with no unpleasant bloating or other gastrointestinal effects occasionally caused by low-quality or impure creatine supplements.
Is it Worth the Money?
Creatines and nitrates are some of the most inexpensive sports supplements on the market, so it should come as no surprise that Cellucor CN3 is a fairly cheap product in the grand scheme of things.
If you have been using stand-alone creatine and nitrate supplements then it definitely makes sense to combine the two in a single product by using CN3.
Of course if you are operating on a very, very tight budget then we would recommend simply creatine monohydrate supplement at this will almost always work out to be the cheaper option.
Either way, make sure that some form of creatine features in your supplement regimen, especially if you are a natural bodybuilder looking to maximise your gains.
Cellucor CN3 is an awesome supplement, and it is a great thing to see that supplement manufacturers are still bringing out new and innovative products.
It is tempting to believe that there are no more innovations possible in the supplement and nutrition industry, but the pre-workout and intra-workout categories are certainly very interesting ones that are sure to see many cool developments in years to come. CN3 is just one possibility.
If you have a few extra bucks to spare and want a killer pump and creatine supplement then we would highly, highly recommend checking out the brand-new Cellucor CN3.
…just don’t blame us if you start busting the sleeves on your shirts!
