Summary: Test HD is MuscleTech's top of the line testosterone booster.
What Does MuscleTech TEST HD Do?
Put simply, MuscleTech TEST HD is a testosterone booster, and has been formulated with a range of natural ingredients to help boost your T levels in a safe and sensible manner.
Whether you’re in the throes of hardcore dieting, say, for a bodybuilding competition, or you’re currently “off” of certain other “supplements,” this is the product for you, and with compounds like Zinc and Tribulus Extract you should have every confidence that TEST HD delivers the goods.
There are countless testosterone-enhancing products on the market made by manufacturers both big and small, and with so many bold claims being made it can be a real nightmare trying to sift through the nonsense to find something that works.
With this in mind, let’s approach TEST HD with a little skepticism to see if it’s worth your money!
What’s in MuscleTech TEST HD?
Rather than forcing you to spend money on multiple T-boosting supplements, TEST HD provides pretty much everything you’ll need to keep your body’s natural testosterone production chugging along:
- Testosterone Boosting Matrix, containing:
- Tribulus Extract;
- Shilajit Extract;
- Boron Citrate;
- Broccoli Powder;
- Stinging Nettle Extract; and
- Velvet Bean Extract
The only thing worth nothing at this point is that the zinc dosage per day is 15mg, which could be a little higher for some.
We’ll touch on this in a little more detail below.
How and When Do I Take It?
As per the manufacturer’s recommendations, you are to one caplet of TEST HD twice per day.
The first caplet is to be taken first thing in the morning, and the second caplet mid-afternoon.
On your training days be sure to take the second caplet around 30 minutes prior to your workout as this should help to give you a little boost of focus and energy once you hit the iron.
What are the Benefits?
Zinc is an essential mineral which provides almost unrivalled hormonal support for men, so even if you decide not to use TEST HD you will definitely want to consider investing in a basic zinc supplement.
Perhaps where this product really stands out is in the rather unusual ingredient known as Shilajit Extract.
Shilajit is a highly obscure mineral sourced from mountainous regions such as the Himalayas.
To quote MuscleTech themselves: “This form of shilajit is now assured of optimal levels of bioactive components such as fulvic acid and dibenzo-pyrones, and is known as the patented PrimaVie®.”
What’s more, PrimaVie® has been shown in clinical studies to boost total serum testosterone in men after a 90-day period.
In addition to this, ingredients such as Tribulus Extract and Stinging Nettle Extract are well known testosterone boosters used by many, shall we say, enhanced athletes who often suffer from a free testosterone deficiency after ceasing use of certain supplements.
Are there Any Precautions?
Do not take more than two capsules per day.
This product is not to be taken by people under 18 years of age, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should also avoid it.
If you experience any adverse side effects after taking TEST HD, be sure to consult your doctor immediately, and if you suffer from diabetes or any other existing medical conditions then you are also strongly advised to consult your doctor or physician prior to use.
Available Flavors and Serving Sizes
TEST HD comes in caplet form rather than as a powder so there are no flavors available.
Furthermore, this product is available in one serving size of 90 caplets, providing you with six-week supply, approximately.
MuscleTech TEST HD Review
The quality of MuscleTech supplements in terms of manufacturing and overall purity is second to none, which is exactly what we should expect from such a reputable brand.
I really like the way they have added the unusual ingredient Shilajit Extract to try to outshine the competition, but I would like to point out that this isn’t necessarily a good thing, and you might be paying a premium for something that may or may not work for you.
We’ll touch on this a little more below so for now it should suffice to say that TEST HD is a high-grade and high-end product that you should certainly compare with other similar testosterone supplements before making your purchase.
It’s great to see that TEST HD has been formulated to include zinc; however, it is worth mentioning that the dosage comes out to around 15mg per day. Although this isn’t a very low dose, you might like to consider upping it to 30 – 50mg if your training is leaving you feeling particularly beat down.
This is not essential, and this product does boast an impressive array of ingredients all round, but it’s certainly worth keeping in mind.
There isn’t anything to say about the taste of TEST HD because it comes in caplet form, but of course this does provide the benefit of not requiring you to mix loose powders in water.
I also like the fact that one dose is equal to one caplet because if you’re like me and already take fistfuls of supplements every day, a product that only adds one extra pill to the pile should come as a welcome break!
Either way, the caplet slides right down the throat with no congestion, and it doesn’t seem to impart any unpleasant aftertaste in the back of the mouth.
Is it Worth the Money?
Something that is important to mention with any supplement, be it to boost testosterone levels or for any other purpose, is that the best invest of your money that you can make is to ensure you are eating a quality diet.
If you want to boost your testosterone in the simplest way possible then just add more saturated fat to your diet, but of course if you are already eating an ample amount of eggs, meat, coconut oil, and so on to no avail then it may certainly be worth purchasing a bottle of TEST HD.
Given that this is a MuscleTech supplement, it obviously isn’t going to be the cheapest available. Even so, sometimes needs must and if your performance in the gym has started to dwindle then this could be just what the doctor ordered.
Is it worth the money? Yes, but make sure you really need it!
If you’re going to invest in a testosterone booster then you should definitely do your homework, so reading this review is a very good idea!
I wanted to highlight this point because the inclusion of an obscure ingredient like Shilajit Extract with an elaborate back story doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re getting anything above and beyond what other similar (and often cheaper) supplements can offer.
Personally, I would say that a simple combination of Zinc, Tribulus Extract, and an ample intake of saturated fats should be enough to maintain optimal testosterone levels in an otherwise healthy man.
Having said this if you are at your wit’s end due to unnaturally low testosterone levels, and you have spoken to your doctor about this, then I see no reason not to put MuscleTech TEST HD to the test and try a couple of bottles.
