If you’re looking for a reliable multivitamin to add to your supplement arsenal then you’ll definitely want to consider checking out NOW Eve.
What’s in NOW Eve?
As with most multivitamin supplements we look at, Eve contains a veritable wealth of performance-enhancing and health-promoting ingredients, so let’s take a closer look:
- Beta Carotene
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin D3
- Vitamin E
- Vitamin K
- Vitamin B6
- Vitamin B12
- Folic Acid
- Pantothenic Acid
- Evening Primrose
- Cranberry Concentrate
- Horsetail Extract
- Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)
- Grape Seed Extract
- Green Tea Extract
How and When Do I Take It?
For general use, take three tablets per day.
These can be taken either all at once or in individual servings separated by a few hours each, but either way please ensure you take them with a meal and plenty of water.
Many of the ingredients in Eve are water-soluble which means that drinking plenty of water with each serving and throughout the day will ensure your body is more suitably equipped to absorb all of those nutrients.
What are the Benefits?
The benefit of using a multivitamin supplement that has been formulated for women’s bodies ensures that you are getting essential nutrients like Folic Acid, Evening Primrose, Iron, and so on.
Adding vitamins and minerals to your diet is a great idea in general, and ingredients like Chromium and Alpha Lipoic Acid will help your body to more effectively deal with your carbohydrate intake so that your nutrients are shuttled to your muscles for recovery rather than to your fat cells for storage.
What’s more, the inclusion of ingredients like Green Tea Extract, Lycopene, and CoQ10 means that NOW Eve provides a spectrum of antioxidant protection and benefits in the area of heart health. This is particularly important for women entering into their 40’s and 50’s.
Are there Any Precautions?
There aren’t really any major precautions to take with this product providing you are using it as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
This product should be kept out of reach of children at all times as accidental overdose of products containing iron can cause fatal poisoning in children under six years old.
Available Flavors and Serving Sizes
NOW Eve is available in tablet and softgel capsule form, which means that there are no flavors available. There are, however, the following serving sizes available:
- 90 tablets
- 90 capsules
- 180 capsules
NOW Eve Review
Personally I’m more of a fan of a product like Optimum Nutrition’s Opti-Women as I feel it offers a slightly broader spectrum of ingredients.
That isn’t to say that NOW Eve isn’t a high-quality product, because it certainly is, and as we’ll touch on below I think you’ll find it to be a highly-cost effective addition to your supplement regimen.
It’s great to see that NOW has started to use softgel capsules for this product because they are far easier to take and give off a far more pleasant odor than the pungent ferrous stench often omitted by tablets containing iron.
Getting your vitamins in tablet or capsule form is obviously a wonderfully quick and convenient way of bolstering your existing nutritional setup.
NOW Eve only requires that you take three tabs or caps per day, so you won’t have to worry about swallowing fistfuls of pills as you would with a product like Universal Nutrition’s Animal Pak, and the softgel capsules slide down the throat like nothing.
Furthermore, you only have to look at the endless user reviews across the Internet to see that women from all around the world have found Eve to be a useful and highly effective multivitamin supplement.
I already mentioned the slightly iron-y smell, if you will, of the tablets, but you can avoid this pretty much altogether by opting for the softgel capsules.
As this product doesn’t come in powder form there isn’t really anything to be said about the composition or mixability, but both the tablets and capsules are pretty easy to take so there are no complaints to be made there.
Is it Worth the Money?
Given that the daily dosage of Eve is three tablets or capsules, bottles of 90 and 180 provide a one- and two-month supply respectively.
You’ll generally be looking at paying anything from $15 to $30 for a one-month supply depending on whether you opt for the tablets or capsules, and of course the bottom end of that price range offers some great value for money.
This is a well formulated multivitamin that should certainly prove quite invaluable to a lot of you hard-training ladies out there, so I’d say it’s well worth investing in your performance in the gym, recovery outside of the gym, and all-round long-term health in your life.
There isn’t a whole lot more to say about NOW Eve other than to simply reiterate that NOW is a long-standing and highly reputable brand that has delivered some fantastic supplements ranging from fat burners to hormonal support and beyond.
Eve makes an excellent addition to their product line, and I’d say it will make an even strong addition to your collection of supplements.
Providing vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, hormonal support, and even a little thermogenic effect thanks to the Green Tea Extract, this multivitamin should give you everything you need to kick butt in the gym while feeling like a million bucks throughout the day.
